In 2023, Alabama ANG's renowned "Red Tails" retired their F-16C and began receiveing F-35A's. The transition will take about three years after which they will be mission ready with the world's premire multirole fighter airplane.

18-5420 is show carrying the Wing's Heritage red tail, continuing the tradition started in WWII by the original Tuskegee Airmen. She is loaded in a "Day 1" configuration with no external stores for the smallest radar signature possible. Internally, she carries a single GBU-31 JDAM 2000 lbs bomb, four GBU-39 SDB's and a pair of AIM-120C active radar missiles for self protection.

Any Fighter Studios print can be customized with different squadron marking, different store configurations, names on the nose or canopy rail. To get yours started, click Personalized Print to get started or Email with questions.
