F-16CM Fighting Falcon 8 FS "Black Sheep" 54th FG Holloman AFB Prints

As the USAF's F-35 pilot training requirement increased with the growing number of jets, some of Luke AFB's F-16 training had to move to free up ramp and range space... those units have moved to Holloman AFB in New Mexico. As part of that transition, the Black Sheep of the 8th Fighter Squadron were reactivated and equipped with F-16 Block 40 CM jets from Hill AFB.
88-0454 is one of those jets and is shown in the colorful "heritage" paint scheme applied in early 2020. The gloss black vertical stabilizer carries an off-center version of the squadron's patch. She also have gloss black horizontal stabilizers and gloss black ventral fins sporting the squadron logo and nickname.
She is shown ready for an Advanced Surface Tactics sortie students fly near the end of their B-course syllabus. She carries a pair of inert GBU-12's and a Litening targeting pod. Additionally, she's loaded with a pair of CATM-120B's, a CATM-8X, a TACTS pod, and a pair of 370 gallon wing tanks.
