The Jersey Devils of the New Jersey Air National Guard traded their F-106A's for F-16's in 1988 and, in 1994, upgraded to the F-16C+'s they fly today. They trace their lineage back to 1917's 5th Aviation School Squadron and are one of the original Air National Guard units.
Based at Atlantic City Air National Guard Base, today the 119th provides Air Sovereignty and has deployed numerous times through multiple combat and UN operational mission.
Depicted is the 177 FW's Wing Commander's jet with its red tail artwork and an Air Sovereignty load of 2 x AIM-120's, 2 x AIM-9X's, a Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod, and a pair of 370 gallon wing tanks.
