F-16A Fighting Falcon 613 TFS "Squids" 401 TFW, Torrejon AB Prints

from $49.50

This print depicts the first of the "Big Tail" F-16's, the Block 15. An update program know as MSIP I (Multistage Improvement Program) was a step towards the C-model which would follow the Block 15 into service. The horizontal tail area was increased by 30% which helped recover from out of control conditions and offset the increased weight which was primarily at the front end of the jet.

This particular F-16A-15K-GD was flown by a friend that went to school, flight school, fighter lead in training, and F-16 training with me. The jet was stationed at Torrejon Spain assigned to the 613 TFS in the 401 TFW.

85-0419 is configured for a air-to-air mission carrying only a AIM-9L and an AMD, plus chaff and flares with a safe gun.

Any Fighter Studios print can be customized with different squadron marking, different store configurations, names on the nose or canopy rail. To get yours started, click Personalized Print for more information or click Email with questions.
